When people are described as being “uptight”, that is often exactly what they are: tense muscles in the face and neck are a sure sign of anxiety. Release that tension with a face massage using gently soothing strokes.

A face massage using soothing strokes with the fingerprints, on the temples and forehead especially, is a very good as an evening treat, calming away the day’s cares and relaxing tense muscles.Use just a little oil, as most people dislike a greasy feeling on the face. Make up a blend of four drops lavender and two drops ylang-ylang oils in a light oil such as sweet almond, grapeseed or coconut.
