Worries can race around inside our heads, usually just as we are trying to fall asleep. The resulting restless night leaves us prone to anxiety. Help break this circle with a hot, relaxing evening bath using essential oils.

Many essential oils can be added to a bath to aid relaxation and sleep, just having a fragrance that you enjoy will help you to unwind after a long day.

A couple of relaxing blends, which are not over-sedating, are 3 drops sandalwood oil and 4 drops rose or 5 drops ylang-ylang oil. Add this oil to the bath just before you get in, holding them under the hot water tap so they are dispersed evenly in the air and water.

Other essential oils that aid relaxations include bergamot, chamomile and clary sage, while tranquillity and peacefulness cand be achieved with neroli.

When people are described as being “uptight”, that is often exactly what they are: tense muscles in the face and neck are a sure sign of anxiety. Release that tension with a face massage using gently soothing strokes.

A face massage using soothing strokes with the fingerprints, on the temples and forehead especially, is a very good as an evening treat, calming away the day’s cares and relaxing tense muscles.Use just a little oil, as most people dislike a greasy feeling on the face. Make up a blend of four drops lavender and two drops ylang-ylang oils in a light oil such as sweet almond, grapeseed or coconut.

Scrub cu zahar brun

Un pas important in ingrijirea corporala consta in exfoliere, mai ales daca vrem sa obtinem un bronz uniform si de durata. Un scrub usor de facut cu ingrediente pe care le avem in casa este cel cu zahar brun.

Avem nevoie de:

 – o cana zahar brun.

 -1/4 cana de ulei de masline ( sau de cocos)                                                                        

-2 linguri miere.

– cateva picaturi ulei esential in functie de preferinte.

Sugar body scrub

Very simple and easy to make. All we need is:

-1 cup brown sugar

-1/4 cup olive oil or coconut oil

– 2 tablespoons honey

-few drops of essentials oils of your choice

Ulei repelent pentru insecte

Niciodata nu mi-a placut senzatia pe care o lasa pe piele diversele produse repelente pentru insecte.  In plus, am tot citit diverse materiale pe tema toxicitatii lor astfel incat am hotarat sa le evit si sa apelez la natura.

Uleiul repelent pentru insecte are miros placut, lasa pielea hranita si catifelata. Uleiul esential de citronella este cel mai puternic repelent natural, iar uleiurile de rozmarin, lemongrass si lavanda sunt folosite din cele mai vechi timpuri in acest scop. Pentru o piele stralucitoare se poate imbogati cu pigment mineral auriu.

Se aplica pe corp in zonele expuse atacului tantarilor. Este eficient 2-3 ore. Nu se aplica inainte de expunerea la soare, unele dintre uleiurile folosite fiind fotosensibile. In cazul copiilor mici, al femeilor insarcinate sau care alapteaza uleiurile esentiale de lemongrass si citronella se inlocuiesc cu ulei esential de geraniu.

Contine: ulei de susan, ulei esential de lemongrass, ulei esential de citronella, ulei esential de lavanda BIO, ulei esential de rozmarin, ulei esential de menta, ulei esential de tea-tree, vitamina E.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Crema lifting anti-age

O crema de zi fina, cu efect refermizant puternic, conferit de ingredientele pretioase ce le contine, potrivita tenului matur, uscat sau normal Datorita uleiului de argan, bogat in fitosteroli si antioxidanti are efect puternic anti-age, nutritiv si reparator conferind pielii un aspect mai ferm si mai tanar. Uleiul esential din seminte de morcov este un adevarat elixir cunoscut pentru efectul regenerator si depigmentar, imbunatateste aspectul si conditia pielii. Apa de trandafiri de Damasc lupta impotriva imbatranirii, conferind suplete pielii. Uleiul de coacaze negre are de asemenea efect antirid, regenerator, antionxidant, revitalizant. Datorita adaosului de Essesol ofera protectie solara.

Despre uleiurile esentiale

Din cele mai vechi timpuri oamenii au folosit produsele parfumante in cadrul ceremoniilor religioase, ale bailor si masajelor, pentru parfumarea parului si a corpului. In secolul X, medicii au invatat cum sa distileze uleiurile esentiale din plante si asa s-a nascut aromaterapia.

Uleiurile esentiale pot fi extrase dintr-o mare varietate de plante, incluzand citricele, arbustii, ierburile si mirodeniile, si sunt folosite pentru a relaxa, seda, improspata sau stimula, in functie de nevoi. Uleiurile esentiale au considerabile efecte vindecatoare, pot dimniua dureri sau pot imbunatati starea pielii. De aceea nu este surprinzatoare folosirea aromaterapiei in medicina conventionala.

Uleiurile esentiale sunt substante naturale, volatile, care prin evaporare isi elibereaza in aer aroma, asa cum se intampla, de exemplu, daca cineva striveste o planta aromatica. Uleiurile esentiale au numeroase beneficii dar trebuie folosite cu atentie.

  • Nu folositi in timpul sarcinii fara recomandarea unui medic
  • Diluati si mai mult uleiurile esentiale in cazul persoanelor cu probleme ale pielii
  • In cazul persoanelor cu astm sau epilepsie se cere o atentie sporita

 

About essential oils

Since the dawn of human history, people have used scented products in religious ceremonies, bathing and massage, and for scenting the hair and the body. in the 10th century, physicians learned how to distil essential oils from plants, and the practice of aromatherapy was born.
