6 Essential Oils for Mind, Body and Soul

Essential oils have therapeutic properties that can be incorporated into your daily routine. You can add drops of these oils to your morning cup of tea, or de-stress after a crazy workday in your bath. You can also use them as incense, for massages or for direct application on cuts and bruises.


1-Rose Essential Oil

This essential oil is known to open the heart chakra, Rose promotes love, compassion, and an ability to experience deeper and meaningful relationships. Suffering from menstrual cramps? Mix it with almond oil.

2-Lavender Essential Oil

The spiritual nature of this essential oil is all about restoration, purification, happiness and peace. It helps alleviate depression, feelings of isolation and loneliness and brings balance to the emotional body. It works as well as a moisturizer for lips and skin.

3-Peppermint Essential Oil

4-Tea Tree Essential Oil

Tea Tree Essential Oil is a strengthening and medicinal one relating to the root and sacral chakra. It has been used for thousands of years by the Australian Aborigines; they inhaled it from crushed leaves to cure coughs and colds and applied it to fungal and bacterial infections, cuts and burns. Spiritually it is used to bring courage and faith in hard times.

5-Pine Essential Oil

Pine essential oil has strong healing effects on the respiratory system. It relieves respiratory and bronchial ailments such as coughs, colds, bronchitis and even sore throat. Pine is also a great antioxidant and improves eye sight and protects it from age-related ailments. It can also be used as an insect repellent by pouring about 10 drops to small pieces of raw wood and placing it around drawers and closets.

6-Frankincense Essential Oil

It reduce acne when topically applied.This oil helps in re-aligning all the chakras. Frankincense oil can be used to induce feelings of inspiration, introspection, and emotional stability. This oil is useful in alleviating chronic stress and fighting anxiety. Very common, headaches can take many forms and can sometimes be very disabling on a daily basis. They may settle abruptly or gradually, touch some or all of the skull, vary in intensity, be accompanied or not by other symptoms …
These headaches most often correspond to headaches of tension or migraines, without gravity but which can be very troublesome:
Tension headache is defined as a moderate, diffuse continuous pain that lasts for a long time, without nausea or vomiting, which is accompanied by difficulty in concentration. It occurs mostly at the end of the day and is often linked to stress, fatigue, or psychological tension.
Migraine is a unilateral and pulsatile headache occurring in seizures, of moderate to severe intensity. It is sometimes accompanied by nausea, vomiting, or intolerance to noise or light. In some patients, the crisis is preceded by signs called “aura”. The factors triggering migraines are very varied: lack of sleep, skipped meals or on the contrary too copious, consumption of certain foods (such as alcohol, coffee and chocolate), certain noises, odors or lights …

If the triggering factors are known, the first thing to do is to avoid them as much as possible! Also remember to hydrate well (many headaches are related to dehydration) and try to relax and evacuate your tensions.

We can mix:

  • 1 ml lavender essential oil
  • 1 ml basil essential oil
  • 2 ml peppermint essential oil

Use: 2 to 3 drops of the mixture in local application on zones of pain according to the needs.

5 uleiuri esentiale pentru prevenirea gripei


Uleiurile esentiale sunt unele din cele mai vechi medicamente utilizate in lupta cu raceala si gripa. Cu ajutorul lor putem preveni sau trata afectiunile respiratorii si febra.

Pentru preventie putem folosi un amestec de uleiuri esentiale din care picuram cativa stropi in lampa de aromaterapie. Pentru acest mix putem folosi:

  • Ulei esential de eucalipt: este antimicrobian, antibacterian, antifungic,dezodorizeaza aerul din incaperi, are actiune pozitiva asupra sistemului respirator fiind expectorant, mucolitic si decongestionant nazal, pozitivant si tonic.
  • Ulei esential de lamaie este un antiseptic general, tonic si stimulant al sistemului nervos, cu un parfum placut, optimizant.
  • Ulei esential de lavanda: antiseptic, sedativ si linistitor, echilibrant al sistemului nervos
  • Ulei esential de camfor are proprietati antivirale, antimicrobiene, imunostimulatoare
  • Ulei esential de rozmarin este antiseptic, expectorant, mucolitic

Utile in cazul febrei sunt uleiurile esentiale de piper negru, menta, lamaie si tea- tree. In cada cu apa calduta picuram cativa stropi din aceste uleiuri sau adaugam cateva picaturi in ulei vegetal cu care facem frectii pe spate si picioare.


5 essential oils to prevent cold and flu

Essential oils are some of the oldest drugs used to fight colds and flu. With their help we can prevent or treat breathing problems and fever.

For prevention we can use a few drops of a  mixture of essential oils in the aromatherapy lamp. For this blend we can use:

  • Eucalyptus essential oil: antibacterial, anti-inflammatory,antiseptic, decongestant, deodorant, stimulating
  • Lemon essential oil: antiseptic, anti-infection, disinfectant, stimulating
  • Lavender essential oil: antifungal, antimicrobial, antiseptic, antibacterial, sedative
  • Camphor essential oil: antiseptic, decongestant, disinfectant, sedative
  • Rosemary essential oil: antiseptic, decongestant

For fever we can use a few drops of black pepper, peppermint, lemon or tea- tree essential oils. We can add a few drops when we take a bath or we can massage our back and feet with vegetal oil(such as olive oil) and a few drops of theese essentials oils.

Sare de baie cu lavanda



Sare de baie din comert este plina de chimicale, iar reteta pentru a prepara una acasa este foarte simpla, nu necesita ingrediente costisitoare si este 100% naturala. Obtinem o sare de baie cu efecte relaxante datorita uleiurilor esentiale de lavanda si ylang-ylang.

Avem nevoie de:

  • sare marina 250 gr
  • ulei vegetal bio (de masline, de orez, de samburi de struguri, de migdale etc) 7ml
  • ulei esential de lavanda – 10 picaturi
  • ulei esential de ylang-ylang – 3 picaturi
  • amidon de porumb – 1 lingura
  • pigment mineral albastru mat – un varf de cutit

Amestecam uleiul vegetal cu uleiurile esentiale, adaugam sarea si pigmentul si omogenizam. La final adaugam amidonul si amestecam bine. Compozitia se transfera intr-un borcan ce se inchide etans. Daca dorim putem adauga cateva flori de lavanda uscate.

Pigmentul mineral poate lipsi din compozitie, are doar rol estetic. Blendul de uleiuri esentiale il putem adapta in functie de dorinte si de efectul pe care il dorim de la sarea de baie.

Relaxing salt bath

Homemade salt bath is chemical-free, very simple to obtain, does not require expensive ingredients and it 100% natural. You will obtain a relaxing salt bath due to lavender and ylang-ylang essential oils.

You need:

  • 250 gr marine salt
  • 7 ml  BIO olive oil (you can use rice oil, almond oil, grapeseed oil or other vegetal oil)
  • 10 drops lavender essential oil
  • 3 drops ylang-ylang essential oil
  • 1 tbs corn starch
  • blue mineral pigment

In a bowl mix the vegatal oil with the essential oils, add the salt and the mineral pigment and mix well. Then add the corn starch and mix again. Put the salt in a recepient with a lid.

You can replace the essential oils blend whit another blend of your choise.
